Jon Boggs

Founder

The founder of NOVO Construction, Jon Boggs developed a passion for the building industry from a young age. With a firm background in business management, he led the transformation of DLV Roofing and Exteriors into its legacy as a trusted roofing contractor. Leaving DLV in 2019, he returned to his passion by founding NOVO Construction to provide local homeowners with quality work and a contractor they can trust. Jon lives in Mt. Pleasant with his wife, Lauren, and their two children, Waylon and Bear. When he is not at work, Jon enjoys being out on the water fishing or in the woods hunting.

Jordan Dickens

General Manager

A South Carolina Native, Jordan embarked on her career in the construction industry in Denver, Colorado.  Her foundation was built working in community development and production management for leading production builders in the industry.  Jordan brought her knowledge and expertise to the low country in 2016.  Before joining our team, she spent years overseeing residential construction for another local firm, where she honed her skills in operations management and client relations.  Jordan brings her extensive knowledge of the construction industry and commitment to excellence to serve as NOVO’s General Manager.  Outside of work, Jordan enjoys an active lifestyle, playing tennis, traveling, spending quality time with friends and family.  Whenever possible, she can be found enjoying the outdoors, especially on the water.  She serves on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Women in Construction.

Lizzy Shegda

Assistant to the Regional Manager

Despite not having a background in construction, Lizzy’s eagerness to face new challenges allowed her to successfully transition to NOVO. Her versatility and willingness to tackle any task has contributed to the growth and development of the NOVO team. Outside of work, Lizzy enjoys DIY projects and watching the Philadelphia Eagles.

Tyler Moeller

Project Manager

Tyler has knowledge in all aspects of residential construction. He moved to Charleston from North Carolina, where he worked on custom homes as a licensed general contractor. In his free time, you’ll likely find him on the water or cheering on his favorite Philadelphia sports teams.

Mike Hill

Project Manager

From Saint Joseph, Missouri, Mike became a real estate agent after playing 3 years in the NFL. He also started his own painting and general home repair business. Having a high interest in construction, he made the move from Missouri to Charleston with his wife, Kaleigh, and two sons, Kaden and Royce. Outside of work you can find Mike outdoors with his family or rooting for his team, the Green Bay Packers.

Tommy Verner

Project Manager

Tommy has been in the Charleston area for 10 years and was a graduate from Bishop England High School. He is a recent graduate from the University of South Carolina, where he studied supply chain and operations. With a great deal of interest in the industry, Tommy is eager to get started in construction. If he is not working, Tommy can be found on the golf course or on the water.

Jennifer Barkley

Accounting Clerk

Jennifer has over 30 years of experience in various aspects of accounting and a SHRM certification earned in 2022, She has cultivated a strong foundation in both the financial and human resources fields. Community involvement is close to Jen’s heart. She has served as a Major League Coordinator for the Summerville Miracle League and continues to contribute as a committee member for the Human Rights Committee for DDSN/Coastal Center. When she is not at work, she cherishes spending time with her granddaughter and is always eager to dive into new DIY projects and learn as much as she can.
